CPS (Child Passenger Safety) Technicians are trained to inspect and identify unsafe car seats and installations, and to educate parents and caregivers on how to properly install and restrain children correctly.

There are many tools parents can use to help reduce the risk of injury and death to children who ride in vehicles.

Irondequoit Ambulance holds a Safety checkpoint on the last Wednesday of the month from 3-6pm. Appointments are preferred but Drive-in's will be served as time and staffing allow.
